Synopsis for "The Devil's Due"

Millions of years ago, despite the carnage around him, Zodac found himself the sole survivor of his people's battle against the hordes of Horde World. He was aware that the one responsible for all this death was the horde's leader - Hordak. Soon, though, Zodac learned that he was not spared by chance. Hordak had spared him. After all, it was Hordak who manipulated him into leading the Enforcers against the horde in the first place. With millions of Enforcers and the horde alike dead, Hordak could feast on their souls.

Hordak appeared to him, and urged him to come away with him to see the fulfilment of the final prophecy; the one which spoke of the avatar of all that is good doing battle with the avatar of all evil, the result of which would decide the fate of the universe. Determinedly, Zodac followed, eager to see the end of Hordak. In truth, the grudge was more personal even than it seemed. Hordak and Zodac were brothers. This mattered little to Hordak, as he intended to become Master of the Universe, anointed with his brother's blood.

Entering the Fright Zone in search of Hordak, Zodac encountered Leech, and was forced to fight for his life. Feeling weak, Zodac defeated Leech and made his way into Hordak's castle, surrounded by flames. Unfortunately, all of the souls Hordak had consumed gave him the power to deflect any weapon. He mocked Zodac for his having led his compatriots to their inevitable deaths at his own brother's hands. Had Zodac never acted, Hordak would not have been able to meet with such success. Grabbing up Zodac, Hordak consumed his soul, and with this, there would be no resistance.

The world would be remade in his image; the master of the universe.
