Synopsis for "I Married a Robot"

Doc Magnus almost marries an evil robot who he mistakes for Tina.

On an unnamed planetoid, Doc Magnus was marrying an evil robot that trapped the Metal Men.

It all began when the Metal Men saw Doc Magnus with a model named Vilma. Platinum intervened and sabotaged Doc Magnus’ date, causing him to snap and shoo her away as she cried. As Magnus began to talk about Platinum shedding tears, Vilma got annoyed and stormed off. Then, the Metal Men attempted to find a fortuneteller for Platinum, but without any success.

Suddenly, a giant spider web appeared in the sky, trapping several jets. The team decided to reach higher levels in order to free the jets. Platinum sprung up Iron and Mercury as they saw that the spiderweb had disappeared taking the jet ski with it. Then they fell down landing on Tin, who became a trampoline and bounced into Platinum, who became a cup.

Later, the Metal Men took their car and searched for more spiderwebs until they eventually stopped appearing. Much later, at Magnus Labs, Platinum attempted to woo Magnus, but with no success. Suddenly, another spiderweb fell and on a ship. The Metal Men rushed out and into a saucer where they went to investigate the web. They crashed into the spiderweb and were teleported on a ‘Nameless’ planetoid, where they found the jets, a train, and the ship.

They came out and saw pilots fighting giant robot spiders. Doc Magnus and the Metal Men fought the spiders while they put the pilot in their ship and launched them away. They were defeated and the Metal Men were trapped in a giant web, while a Black Widow robot hypnotized Magnus into thinking that she wasn’t a beautiful woman.

Back in the present, the Metal Men attempted to escape from the webs, when more spider robots arrived and began to flirt with them. The Metal Men convinced the robots to free them. Then, the team destroyed the robots before using their parts to make an iron wheel and locating the Black Widow and Magnus. The Metal Men saved Doc Magnus and escaped the Black Widow and the planetoid before returning to the laboratory, with Platinum giving Doc Magnus a kiss on the cheek.
