Synopsis for "The Secret Within Us..."
Darkseid taps the minds of the human holders of the Anti-Life Equation and brings into existence the Antagonist, a being of Anti-Life, whom he sends to Earth to foment chaos and war. He also learns that the Infinity Man, believed dead after battling Devilance, was the holder of the Life Equation and was connected with the Source. Several New Gods go to Earth to battle the Antagonist, but are defeated and captured. Orion goes to Apokolips, finds Darkseid has gone, and is told by Desaad that Darkseid has gone to use the Anti-Life Equation to solve the mystery of the Source.
