Nox-El was a native of the planet, Krypton.
History
Not only was he a respected member of the noble House of El, he was also a world class entertainer quoted as, "One of the leading lights of the Kryptonian theater". He was the father of Fil-El, a direct ancestor of the hero known as Superman.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
Nox-El possessed no superhuman powers while living under a red sun. Had he existed on a world revolving around a yellow sun, he would have developed physical attributes equitable to that of Superman.

- This version of Nox-El, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
- Nox-El's final fate has never been revealed, but it is reasonable to assume that he passed away of natural causes long before the ultimate destruction of Krypton.
