Synopsis for "Fighting Footsteps"

A soldier was wandering in the desert, separated from his recon squad. The soldier thought that wherever he went, he never left a mark in life, so he decided to go to the desert during World War II. While wandering in the desert, he literally left a mark of footprints on the sand. Suddenly, a German soldier appeared, so the American soldier gunned down his enemy and decided to look back at his trail every once in a while as the Nazi had tracked him down, following the footsteps. The American soldier also made more footsteps to confuse anybody who may have followed him. However, he got lost and was tracked down by a German halftrack that exchanged fire with him. Realizing that he could not beat the halftrack with just an M1 rifle, the soldier got on the ground and slid a grenade under the halftrack, blowing it up. The soldier continued to wander until he was followed by a German fighter plane that opened fire on him. The soldier got down on the ground, then shot at the plane's exhaust flame, blowing it up. Afterwards, he continued to wander when a sandstorm started. After the sandstorm, he was reunited with his squad.

Synopsis for "The Liberators - Battle Story of the 14th Armored Division"

The 14th Armored Division was activated in November, 1942, but was not shipped out until 1944. They joined the IV Corps in attacking the Nazis in Marseilles and Alsace. On December 12th, they crossed the Lauter River and seized Haugenau from the Germans, then crossed the Moder River, taking up positions south of Bitche. On New Year's Eve, the Germans launched a surprise attack, forcing the 14th to withdraw, but also intact. Eventually, they were pushed back to Strasbourg, but were able to stop the Nazis from taking over the city. By March 1945, the 14th drove across the Moder River and the Siegried Line and captured Germersheim. On April 1st, Easter Sunday, the division chased the Germans through Worms, Neusstadt, and Hammelberg. It's final battle involved them crossing the Danube to Moosburg, where they liberated over 110,000 allied prisoners.

During its 167 days of World War II combat, the 14th Armored Division was awarded two unit citations, while one individual won a medal of honor, 9 distinguished service crosses, 273 silver stars, and 3024 bronze medals, earning them the nickname the "Liberator Division."

At night, when Phil and the others were on a mission, the brother jumped out with his parachute and dropped a grenade on the enemy's spotlight. However, an enemy flak opened fire on the plane, shooting it down and forcing Phil to jump out as well.
