Our Army at War #99 is an issue of the series Our Army at War (Volume 1) with a cover date of October, 1960.

Synopsis for Sgt. Rock: "Easy's Hardest Battle!"

After relieving the forces of Fox, Dog, and Charlie Company, the men of Easy Co. dig themselves in, and the moment's rest allows Rock to reflect back to Easy Co.'s hardest battle. His recollection takes him back to the early days of Easy Co. when they were fighting in the deserts of Africa.

Rock recalls how they were almost done in by a battalion of Nazi Tiger Tanks. While they manage to fight off the attack, not all the tanks are destroyed and Rock and the men of Easy Company believe that this isn't the last they saw of the members of this tank battalion.

Once his reflection is over, almost as if by coincidence, the surviving tanks from this battalion attack, and Rock and the men of Easy Co. manage to destroy them after a brief skirmish.
