Synopsis for "Decline & Fall"

As the Outsiders give a funeral for Looker,[1] they are interrupted by Markovian security forces who arrest them for a purported coup. Geo-Force commands them to protect themselves but not to injure the guards who are simply following orders. When Wylde is hit by a stray bullet, he goes into a blind rage, killing several of them. They retreat to Technocrat's Swiss summer home where they discover that the media have been lead astray by Prince Roderick, leaving them all outlaws. Technocrat calls his wife Marissa to tell her that they are safe, only to have her sic Sanction on them to apprehend her husband.

The cybernetic bounty hunter is a former associate of Technocrat and Wylde who gases and abducts the heroes. With the last of his strength, Faust manages to disperse the gas with his magic and it allows the team to awaken much earlier than Sanction had figured. They fight him again and defeat him, discovering that his armor is actually grafted to his body and he is a multiple amputee. The heroes decide to return to Markovia where citizens of the villages who saw them fighting vampires can clear their name. Meanwhile, The Eradicator also arrives in Markovia, intent on stopping the Outsiders.
