Meanwhile, as Bomb was in too much of a hurry to tell him what was going on, Hustace goes blasting across town too, and enters a dive bar after hearing what sounds like a fight with the hero going on. Instead he finds Parry Cripick, the victim's heir, and some crooks who are all too happy to tell Hustace about the arson job they pulled at the Cripick house. Hustace scares them into running out of the dive and right into the arms of the police when his feet set off an explosion and make the crooks realize he's Bomb's sidekick. Meanwhile Bomb's managed to save old man Cripick, who's infuriated that the part of his house that wasn't destroyed by the fire is destroyed when Hustace accidentally lands on it with his feet.
