Synopsis for "We Can Be Heroes - Part 2"
Rayhan Mazin's family migrated to USA when he was thirteen. Mazin was a bullied kid, but his father Adal kept telling him USA was a country where they could live free and unafraid, unlike Qurac, and they could change the people's mindset through hard work and honesty.
Now he is facing Power Girl and Batman, who still believe he tried to bring down a plane rather than stop it from crashing down. Mazin is tired of trying to be civil, so he summons a hurricane above Gotham City and slips away while Power Girl gets to undo it.
Mazil barges into the hospital to see his father. Batman chases after him, but Mazin keeps him busy by flooding a hallway.
Outside, Power Girl is fighting the storm, but all of sudden it stops.
Mazin gets to meet his dying father. Adal believes his son has been finally exonerated, and Mazin doesn't correct him, but he confirms he tried to save the plane. Mazin's father passes away, and his son bursts into tears. Outside, Batman has heard his story and is stopping some security men from going inside.
Later, Power Girl apologizes to Mazin for getting him locked up. Batman is looking into Mazin's case and has found out some federal investigators were interested in apprehending a metahuman terrorist, so he was railroaded. Power Girl is willing to help his family to compensate for his ordeal, but Mazin turns her proposal down.
Still later, Power Girl meets up with Batman. She suggested Mazin to visit the J.S.A., and Batman will see that those responsible for his detention are brought to justice.
Before Bruce leaves, Kara tells she's glad to have him back after he is gone. His apparent loss hurt her, but it looks like the best ones always find their way back. Bruce answers she is among the best, too, and flies off.
