At some point, Randy Klein was exposed to Kryptonite and gained metahuman abilities.

By 2008, Randy had joined a therapy group at the Isis Foundation. Around this same time, a mysterious serial killer was stalking the streets of Metropolis. Having always wanted that kind of attention, Randy set himself up as a copycat and attacked EMT Davis Bloome and Daily Planet photographer Henry James Olsen. However, Randy was stopped by Clark Kent and taken into custody. After he was locked up, Randy was approached by Eva Greer, who noted that Randy had an alibi for at least one of the murders that he claimed to be behind. Something the police would soon uncover. Greer gave Randy an offer to join a team of people like him.[1]

Powers

Weaknesses

  • Randy Klein was portrayed by Tyler Johnston.
  • When Randy Klein attacks Olsen and Bloome, Olsen finds a dead body. However, the corpse has had his face cut open by someone with claws, whereas Randy only attempted to strangle Bloome and Davis.[1] With no evidence that Randy possesses claws, it is possible that Randy did not kill the man.
  • While Randy Klein was approached about joining Tess Mercer's team, he did not appear in the episode "Injustice". In the episode, Eva Greer shows Clark Kent the profiles of eight members, on the computers at the Isis Foundation, while only five members appear in the episode. The three other members were not identified.[2] It is unknown if Randy Klein was one of them.
