Synopsis for The Jester: "Unlucky Starr"

Chuck Lane's assigned to bodyguard starlet Starr Emery, who's confronted by a crook who has blackmail material on her. At first she stands defiant, declaring her reputation can stand up it being revealed she used to date a small-time crook. However then they reveal they have Jack Burman, the love her life, who they know is guilty of stealing box office money. While the crooks leave the lovebirds to think it over, the Jester shows up in the window and offers to help. He turns the tables on the crooks by cracking a water cooler and washing the incriminating fingerprints from the cash box they're using to blackmail the actors. Starr promises to give up her disdain for the common man among her fandom, and at the Jester's recommendation goes to the city orphanage as a surprise celebrity guest to a party they're throwing.
