Star-Spangled Comics #65 is an issue of the series Star-Spangled Comics (Volume 1) with a cover date of February, 1947.
Synopsis for Robin: "The Teen-Age Terrors"
Dick Grayson is hurrying home late one night when he comes across a burglary. He changes into his Robin costume and takes down the three burglars.
During their sentencing, Robin learns that two of the burglars are alumni of the Boyville Reform School, and after touring the school as Robin, he decides to return undercover as "Dennis Devlin," aka Dynamite Denny. The other boys attack him, and he proves his worth by punching out "Big Ears."
Joe Beasley, a teacher, invites Denny to a secret meeting where he teaches them how to commit crimes. After some time, Denny and another student named Eddie are sent outside the school to commit a real job.
Denny changes into his Robin costume and turns on the adult thieves he and Eddie were partnered with, and after leaving them for the cops, Denny and Eddie return to Boyville where Denny exposes Beasley's scheme in front of the other boys and reveals he is Robin. He tells the boys that no one will know they ever attended these meetings and to take this second chance, which they do.

Synopsis for Robotman: "Cupid & Crime Inc"
Guzzler Gooch and his gang attack a bank official named Wesley Winters, who is a dead ringer for Gooch, and his fiance Thelma. Robotman and Robbie the Robot Dog happen to be on a walk nearby and come to their defense, but he is overcome and the criminals get away, though without Winters and Thelma.
Paul Dennis and Robbie visit Winters and Thelma at home where they are attacked again, and this time, the crooks get away with Winters' bank keys. Robotman and Robbie follow them to the bank where Gooch disguises himself like Winters. The crooks try to blow up Robotman, but he only loses his legs (quickly replaced by legs from home) and they are arrested.

Synopsis for Penniless Palmer: "Bounce and Kickback"
Penniless Palmer and his helpers Bunny South and Oxie stumble across a store where the shopkeepers pays men to pretend to be customers so he can pretend to throw them out, after they sign a liability waiver, but they are suspicious of his explanation since one of the men he kicked out is Slip Dorgan, the richest racketeer in town.
Palmer and Oxie go undercover and join the line of customers to get kicked out. Palmer spilled ink on his hand when he signed the liability waiver, and the ink disappears. With his own signature vanished, Dorgan plans to sue Nick Feddup for ten thousand dollars in damages.
Palmer and his helpers catch Dorgan and his gang in their quarters, but after a fight, they are captured and tied to a tree with explosives. The gang leave them, and they begin stripping the bark off the tree to give them enough room to escape.
When Dorgan goes to challenge Mr. Feddup, he finds Palmer already there. Another fight ensues, and this time, Palmer and his helpers come out the winners; however, Mr. Feddup does not pay them because they broke a chair during the fight.

Synopsis for Star-Spangled Kid: "Dugan Dons a Top Hat"
John Pemberton's new car arrives, and his chauffer Dugan and his son Sylvester go to collect the car. On the way back, they change into their costumes to pursue an arsonist, and during the fight, the arsonist's torch falls on the car, destroying it.
Dugan has to take Mr. Pemberton to work the next day in a hansom cab, and while he is talking to his friends outside, he notices a car that looks exactly like the one that got destroyed, only yellow. Dugan and Sylvester investigate and see the initials "J.P." engraved on the car, proving that it is Mr. Pemberton's.
The car thieves return, and the Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy pursue them to their hideout in the hansom cab. The criminals try to run, but Stripesy blows his "Aid-Your-Fellow-Driver" Club whistle, summoning other hansom cabs that surround the thieves. The thieves are caught, and Mr. Pemberton's car is returned.

Synopsis for Liberty Belle: "The Case of the French Heiress"
Libby Lawrence is on her way to work when a car drives up and a woman asks her to announce the return of Marie Lefarge, a French heiress who disappeared years ago after her father Pierre was killed by Nazis. The woman asks to be contacted by a "J.T."
Following the broadcast, outside the studio, Libby is cornered by armed men, who demand to know where Marie Lefarge is. When she tells them she doesn't know, they take her prisoner and leave her in their hideout, rolled up inside a rug.
Libby escapes and returns home to change into her Liberty Belle costume. Before she can head out, Jack Teale comes by. He tells her the Lefarges' old apartment in the city has been ransacked and Pierre Lefarge left him (his former partner) in charge of Marie's fortune.
Liberty Belle returns to the house and rolls herself back up into the rug. The criminals return with Marie, who identifies one of her abductors as her father's secretary Mr. Jordan. She refuses to help them get the money from Jack until they threaten to kill him.
Marie calls Jack, who brings the money to the house. Jack learns the truth quickly, and he fights the criminals until Liberty Belle frees herself from the rug and joins in. They tie up the criminals, and Jack and Marie decide to renew their engagement from before the war.
