History

Steeljacket was a bio-engineer who altered his genes by mixing it with bird DNA to gain flight. However, this greatly deteriorated his bone structure which forced him to wear a special armor to support and protect himself. Steeljacket began his criminal activity by committing multiple mob-related murders in Gotham City in which his handiwork were initially mistaken for the violent vigilante Azrael. After killing a thug, Steeljacket confronted Robin, who had been investigating the murders, and attempted to kill him for being a witness.
