The Steelworks was John Henry Irons's laboratory located in Metropolis.

History

SteelWorks, previously an old, abandoned factory, has risen as the Suicide Slum's one bright spot. Bought by John Henry Irons upon his return to the city to serve as his facility for constructing non-lethal equipment for the Metropolis Special Crimes Unit. Since it's recreation, the SteelWorks has been infused with Kryptonian parts, thanks to Superman's help, making it free from LexCorp's surveilance and control.
