Synopsis for "Or You Will Be Destroyed!"

Comet and Eye confront Zalcor Numrat an his gang at a local tavern to reclaim Adam Strange's belongings when he was mugged. Zalcor tells his crew to deal with Comet and Eye while he makes his getaway. Comet and Eye make short work of Zalcor's crew while Zalcor runs into Adam Strange who was waiting for him to make his escape through the back of the tavern. Adam knocks out Zalcor and takes back his belongings. A projection of Synnar appears before the three of them and tells them that they need to get the Weird of Max's custody.

The projection informs the trio that the Weird is fighting for control of his body and mind. Synnar fears that the Weird's temperament and lack of discipline could mean disaster since there is no telling if the Weird could access Synnar's awesome power. Adam concurs with Synnar's fears because the disappearing of the stars is a sign of the Weird's fight to regain consciousness. As for Prince Gavyn, he has had no luck in contacting the Green Lantern Corps to discuss what has been happening. Alanna and Sardath transport Gavyn to the dark zone in order to find Adam.

Comet, Adam and Eye observe the Weird's holding cell from Comet's base of operations in the Hole. They notice that shift changes constantly occur every two hours. Tyrone points out that if they plan on breaking the Weird out of the justice center then the time is now because Max and his squadron of officers have there hands full dealing with Bizarro. Bizarro is tearing through the municipal sector so Max calls in a class C telepath from the interrogation department to calm Bizarro down.

Comet teleports himself, Adam and Eye to the holding cells in the justice center. Comet uses his telepathic powers to knock out two officers in the interrogation room. However, there are six officers guarding the Weird and they are wearing psychic shielding helmets. Adam decides to confront the officers physically. Comet uses his telekinetic abilities to cause three guards to collide with one another while Eye's orb knocks out two others. Adam kicks the final guard in the groin. Comet breaks the Weird out of his containment cell and teleports the four of them to Terranium, an uninhabited Class M planet.

The projection of Synnar appears before the four of them. He explains to them that the only reason why any of them are noticing the stars disappearing and nobody else is because the four of them are a part of the Aberrant Six. Adam demands more answers about the Aberrant Six but the projection fades away. Comet teleports the four of them to a meteor passing by the dark zone in order to find answers. Eye sheds some light on the Aberrant Six by explaining that there is a gospel about the chosen apostles of Synnar who will bring about a new future for the universe. Suddenly, the glowing eyes of the Weird that appeared to Adam before had returned. The Weird's voice says to the four of them "You should not be here. Depart immediately" then a small group of the Weird spring from the dark zone and attack the four of them.

Back on Hardcore, Max's telepath fails to bring down Bizarro so he flees. Max fends for himself by taking on Bizarro. Coriolis arrives at the scene and decides he must save Bizarro in order to explain the complication to Deacon Dark. Coriolis creates a portal that leads straight to Thanagar and he uses his hovering discus to collide with Bizarro thus sending the both of them into the portal. Max doesn't know what just happened but he's just glad that Bizarro is off the station.

Lysarow delivers the bad news to Lady Styx that Bizarro has vanished from Hardcore but Megalodon-7 hasn't given up on his mission. Lady Styx has regained her strength and busts out Lady Glaxar's body like balloon. Lady Glaxar's husk lies before Styx and Styx recites a gospel to Lysarow. There was once a race who knew all things and were always right. The inferior races on neighboring planets had their own points of view and felt that this superior race could not be infallible. The superior race had decided that since their neighbors would not accept what was righteously correct then they would force the truth on the non-believers.

The superior race started a project that took decades to complete. Their goal was to create unite their race into a single intellectual focus or a uni-mind, This uni-mind would reach out and cleanse its neighbors of any misconceptions thereby forcing them to perceive reality as the superior race does. One member of this proud race activated the uni-mind once it was complete but the project blew up in their faces. The uni-mind engulfed the entire planet in a fiery blaze. However, it was from this fiery blaze that Lady Styx was conceived.

Lady Styx represented this proud race's sacred vision. When Styx was born, she was enraged by how wrong and chaotic the universe is. Styx's purpose was to bring or force her profound clarity and the philosophy of her people to the universe. Scouts from the neighboring planets went to Styx's reborn planet when it finally cooled down. Styx infected their perception on a viral level. The scouts began to worship Styx and gave her access to their ship so she could spread her word throughout the universe like a plague.

Lady Styx has found it easy to corrupt backwater planets who aren't technologically advanced but each time she comes across Synnar's pagan sect, their forces clash with one another which often results in Styx's physical destruction. Every time she is defeated, Styx is reduced to a parasite and must live off of another until she has fully regained her strength. Styx believes that Synnar has been to sent by some higher force at work in order to test her resolve. The next time she comes face to face with Synnar, Lady Styx will rise triumphant.
