Synopsis for "The Mystery of Sorcery Boy!"

To discover why two coins from 1680 found in Kent Family heirlooms bear Superboy's image, the Boy of Steel goes back to that time, is adopted by Jonas Kent and his wife Maria, and encounters the Bald-Pate Highwayman.

Superboy is called "Sorcery Boy", and discovers that Bald-Pate is actually Judge Grimm - a look-alike for Lex Luthor. Too late, Superboy learns that he is in the town of Salem. To cover up his own crimes, Judge Grimm has Superboy found guilty of witchcraft and "executes" him with two silver musketballs - with Superboy's image and the date on them.

The balls flatten against Superboy's invulnerable chest, and are carried away by Jonas Kent as a reminder; eventually making it into the hands of Jonathan Kent.
