Synopsis for "The Fugitive Krypto"

Krypto travels to the dog star Sirius and discovers a planet inhabited by dog people. He is also surprised to learn that he is considered a hero and widely admired on that planet. Krypto proceeds to enjoy his fame until he discovers that he has lost his powers due to light from a red moon. The dog people immediately assume that Krypto is an imposter and he is immediately imprisoned. A second Krypto appears and he seems to have all the powers of the real Krypto. It is later revealed that the false Krypto is really a disguised dog named Bonzo. He serves a cruel master by the name of Astawrk who uses him to collect gifts and treasures meant for the real Krypto. Bonzo’s superpowers are derived from bones infused with a superpower potion that only works on real dogs. His superpowers only last a few hours after which he is vulnerable to abuse from Astawrk. In the meantime, the real Krypto escapes from his prison and he proceeds to locate his impersonator Bonzo. He contacts Bonzo and offers to help him escape the clutches of his cruel master. Bonzo agrees to help and flies off to meet with his master. While he is delivering the latest batch of treasures, Bonzo steals a superpower infused bone and delivers it to Krypto.
