Synopsis for "What Kryptonite Does Not Kill... It Only Makes Stronger..."

Supergirl's battle with H'el has left Kara with a severe case of Kryptonite poisoning and a deep psychological trauma.

As Superman takes his sick cousin to the Fortress of Solitude's med bay,[1] they are being observed by Lex Luthor, who takes delight in the opportunity to study a Kryptonian sick of K-poisoning.

Kal later takes Kara to Dr. Veritas. Kara spends two weeks on a space station, orbiting the Sun to help speed up the healing process. Unfortunately, not even that treatment is enough to cure her. Dr. Veritas wants to run more tests, but Kara is fed up with it. After being teleported back to The Block, she leaves.

Meanwhile, Karen Starr, also known as Power Girl, is suddenly feeling sick and wondering if her illness is somehow connected to Supergirl.

While making her way back to the surface from the center of the Earth -where The Block is located- Kara is attacked by an alien woman made of lava. The woman had previously attacked Superboy,[2] and now she declares she looks to hunt every last Kryptonian into extinction for what Kryptonians have done to her kind.

Kara doesn't know who is the lava woman or what is she talking about, but she has no option other than defending herself. Sadly she is weakened by her sickness and faints during the battle. Before the lava woman can kill Kara, USA army troops show up to retrieve the young Kryptonian, and the alien woman decides to escape.

In the meantime, Luthor has been observing the battle, and is ready to make his move.

And Karen Starr is feeling sick again during a board meeting. Kara's condition is affecting her somehow.
