Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #23 is an issue of the series Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes (Volume 1) with a cover date of December, 2006. It was published on October 25, 2006.
Synopsis for the 1st Story
Kara wakes up to find herself inside a stasis chamber, in a world lit up by a red sun, and powerless. At the beginning she thinks she has finally awoken from her strange dream until she sees the Legion. Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Brainiac 5 and Light Lass have brought her to Kandor, in the world of Rokyn (after sedating her).
In Metropolis, Triplicate Girl and Element Lad find a scavenger called Ral Benem with the power to control plant life and invite him to join the Legion. They don't know he's a mole working for a third party.
Back in Kandor, the team explains that they needed to get through to Kara somehow, and Cosmic Boy thought that taking her to Kandor was the best way to break her dellusion without breaking her mind.
Kara finally faces up to reality for first time after several weeks. She is upset, but she is even more upset when she sees her friends intend to leave her in Kandor. Cosmic Boy tells himself entrusting Kara to the care of the Kandorian doctors is for the best, but Kara isn't happy about being left in a place where she is regarded as an intriguing relic of the past by people who consider her slow because she talks an ancient Kryptonese dialect from their perspective.
Meanwhile, in Talok VIII, Grev -Shadow Lass's brother- challenges for the spot of their people's Shadow Champion. Tasmia wins easily. Later Atom Girl suggests her to run for Legion Leader.
In Rokyn, the Legion hear an alarm coming from the Kandorian museum and head there. When they arrive at the museum, they run into the Wanderers. They fight, but the Wanderers have the upper hand thanks to Jeyra blocking Imra's telepathy.
Nonetheless, Saturn Girl is hearing another voice as they fight. Someone is trapped near from them.
