Superman Adventures #31 is an issue of the series Superman Adventures (Volume 1) with a cover date of May, 1999.

Synopsis for "Family Reunion, Part II"

The Kryptonians wreak havoc on Metropolis as Superman and Jor-El are trapped on Kryptonopolis, where Lara reveals that she caused the fire that killed the Kents.

On Earth, a car with Lois and Jimmy falls off a bridge, but Bizarro swoops in to catch it. Metallo and the Parasite also help defend the city. However, all three are defeated by Lieutenants Kal-El and Kara and Professor Va-Kox.

Meanwhile, Jor-El disables the laser-shield and teleports Superman to Earth, just in time to gather the attackers and teleport all of them back to Kryptonopolis. Jor-El reveals that he has decided to teleport Superman back to his own dimension, at the cost of sacrificing the city. Lara pleads with him to reconsider, but Jor-El pulls the trigger. As Kryptonopolis explodes, Superman relives the destruction of his home once again, and is sent back to his own reality.

There, Professor Hamilton notifies Superman that he disappeared for a moment following the blast of the antimatter engine, chalking up his adventures to hallucination. When Clark returns home, he tells his family how much they mean to him, despite having met his biological parents.
