Superman Family #209 is an issue of the series Superman Family (Volume 1) with a cover date of August, 1981. It was published on May 21, 1981.

Synopsis for Supergirl: "Strike Three -- You're Out"

Supergirl moves to New York City and starts her new acting career playing Margo Hatton in Secret Hearts. After meeting her new co-workers, including sports newscaster Fred Fox, Linda goes out with SH's scriptwriter Greg Gilbert.

The next morning, Greg knocks on her door to help her move her furniture around. Later, though, he turns on TV's Linda to watch a baseball game and begins ignoring Linda. At the same time, Fred Fox, who is supposed to cover the game, activates a special device. After a while, the players start fighting each other suddenly and savagely. Greg is still watching the game, which Linda exploits to sneak out and change clothes.

Not wanting to hit people directly, Supergirl douses their tempers by dumping a stream of water taken from Hudson River on everyone in the field. Since nobody remembers why they started fighting, Supergirl leaves. Meanwhile, Fred thinks he'll have to kill her if she interferes with his plans again.

Linda Danvers goes back home, pretending she went for takeout, as on TV Fred Fox reports the riot.
