Superman: The Man of Steel #6 is an issue of the series Superman: The Man of Steel (Volume 1) with a cover date of December, 1991.

Synopsis for "Mismatch"

While escaping from the dinosaurs in the strange island, Superman and Mister Z stumble with a tribe of neanderthals. Unable to communicate, the tribe takes both of them as prisoners, but the the daughter of the tribe chief falls in love with him. Eventually, she convinces his father to prepare a wedding ceremony. The chief asks Superman, who still doesn't understand what's happening, if he accepts the tribal woman as his wife. But Mister Z warns him to not say a word, otherwise he'll be married to that woman for life.

Meanwhile, in Metropolis, the chaos caused by the blackout continues, and Lois Lane asks the Guardian's help to find Superman. Along with Hamilton, they follow Superman's trail to the Antarctic, where they intercept a communication of the French sailors who found Superman with amnesia. Then they head to the location where their plane crashed.
