Local girl Judy Brown wins a secretary of the year award. She receives national attention and her reward is that she gets to work as a guest secretary for millionaire magnate Mr Orisso. Browns fiancée finds the contest to be an annoyance since it interferes with their planned wedding date. Brown reveals that she had entered the contest months ago and that she had no idea that she was going to win. She travels to the large city by bus where she is greeted by reporters and photographers as she settles into her office duties. Judy notices that the office is filled with glamorous women and she wishes that she could be more like them bus she dismisses the idea and begins to assume her duties. At the end of the day she organizes some shipping files and discovers that some of the company freight shipments are thousands of pounds overweight. She wishes that she could investigate the mystery herself but that is beyond her capabilities. The mysterious green cloud suddenly appears and transforms Judy into glamorous super-agent Judy Blonde. Judy takes the transformation in stride and immediately begins to work on the case. She uses gadgets to fly through the air and she quickly discovers that a ring of thugs is using the freightliner to illegally export shipments of gold. She is captured by the ring with the use of a cargo net but Judy uses a handkerchief that expels gas to subdue her captors. She nabs the thugs and summons the authorities. Her boss for the day Mr Orisso makes an appearance and immediately offers Judy Blonde a job as his permanent personal secretary. Judy is offended that Orisso did not notice her as Judy Brown but only offered her that job as a glammed up Judy Blonde. She curtly rejects that job and walks away. The mysterious Green glob appears once more and transports Judy back to her hometown to the waiting arms of her fiancée.
