Synopsis for "History Lesson - Chapter 9"

At the Nightwing complex, the hacker Guy does not believe that the group Hayden and Jaime represent can overthrow the Superman. Guy says he doesn't want to join, and Hayden responds that she didn't want to see her brother sent to a prison camp. She asks him to tell her about Manhunter.

No-one knows who the Manhunter is. However, the theory that makes the most sense, to Guy at least, is that she was a child during the Czech war in 1968. The war left her horribly scarred and orphaned, and she decided in her rage to take on the war criminals of the world. She trained hard, getting help from somewhere to build her robotic dog, "Pooch". She took on the escaped war criminals who had tried to hide in South America in the Caribbean. No-one knows what she was doing in America, but while there she helped form the Secret Six. Sticking around, she toned down her violent streak but told the team little. She remained with the team until they took on Superman in Washington just after he took power.

Using Manhunter as an example, Hayden succeeds in convincing Guy to go along with them. However, Jaime doesn't quite trust him - for a computer geek, Guy has surprisingly well-developed muscles...
