Synopsis for "Tomorrow Is Forever"

Kent Nelson recovers, not knowing what just happened. He finds himself in what appears to be Hollywood, except the entire place has been destroyed by some supernatural force. Nelson is shocked when he spots the body of a woman and his surprise turns to grief when he realizes it is Inza, his wife. Inza's body is a deteriorating corpse, but despite her lifeless condition, her spirit speaks to Nelson and tells him what happened.

The Lord of Chaos Malferrazae is responsible for destroying the world by creating earthquakes and he also separated Inza's own jealousy from her mind and body and turned the entity into an evil demon to fight Doctor Fate. The jealousy demon took the Helmet of Fate from Nelson during their fight and so he lost his conscience and abilities. Much to Malferrazae's satisfaction, Kent Nelson gives into despair, but Inza's spirit tells him that she could still be revived. Thanks to the longevity essence that Fate used on her to stop her natural aging, her soul is preserved despite the damage done to her body and all Kent has to do is return the jealousy entity back to her body to make her whole again.

Doctor Fate 0025

Fate saves Earth

With renewed strength, Nelson stands and confronts the jealousy demon, who is holding the Helmet of Fate, taunting Nelson to take it back. The jealousy demon tries to get Nelson's full attention, unaware that this would be it's downfall. Nelson approaches and gives the demon what she desires, but in doing so, the entity has entered in a loophole. Because Nelson has showed passion for her, she has become jealous of herself and so, the entity consumes itself, losing power. Nelson takes the chance to attack the demon and take the Helmet of Fate back.

With the Helmet in his power, Doctor Fate returns and uses a spell to force the jealousy entity back into Inza's body, returning the woman her life and youth. Once that has been taken care of, Fate plunges himself to space, where he increases his own size until he can stand on Earth. Taking his powers and abilities to the limit, Fate creates a mighty mystical effect that covers the entire planet, restoring the damage done by Malferrazae and destroying the Lord of Chaos for good.

Once peace has been restored on Earth, Fate returns to his mortal form and descends to where Inza is waiting for him. Kent removes the Helmet and breaks down out of exhaustion, but Inza takes care of him, finally realizing that Fate is not a threat or an enemy to her, as they both want nothing but Nelson's well-being, which includes her own safety as well. Like this, the loving couple decide to return home to heal their wounds and prepare for the next time Doctor Fate is needed.

Meanwhile at the Boston Museum of Natural History, the new curator, Vernon Copeland, is eager to meet his co-worker, Inza, who he deems as the most beautiful woman he has ever seen.
