What's your deal, Meena? You show up out of nowhere, you won't really say where you've been, and all you can think about is the Negative Speed Force. Why?

Synopsis for "Black Hole Rising, Part One"
A few months ago, at the S.T.A.R. Labs in Central City, Meena Dhawan argues with a colleague against collaborating on a study on the Speed Force. As she exits the Lab, she's struck by the lightning of a speed force storm, which changed everything she knew was true.
Meena has now reunited with Barry Allen, after she was seemingly killed by Godspeed. As the two speak, Kid Flash arrives, delighted to see her alive but puzzled about how she survived. Meena explains that she was "absorbed" by the Speed Force and she battled her way back so that she could save Barry, who's dying from his contact with the Negative Speed Force. Contrary to Reverse-Flash, Barry has both Speed Forces at the same time, and that is tearing him apart. She claims that she knows all this because of an extra power she got from the storm, and that she can prove it.
At the Central City Demolition Derby, Meena applies a monitor to Barry's head which will collect data on the Negative Speed Force and how it affects him. She took him there because he can get loose and destroy anything he likes for the experiment. As Flash gets ready to run, Kid Flash decides to come along to see what happens to him. The two Speedsters start running and in no time Flash begins to be consumed by the Negative Speed Force. Kid Flash stops him from being torn apart and Barry thanks him for keeping him in check. Meena seems excited with the results, but Wally begins to find her behavior suspect: she showed up out of nowhere and now all she cares about is this Negative Speed Force, but why?
In a pub, Kristen Kramer is complaining about her work at Iron Heights with her ex-colleagues of the CCPD, Detectives Burns and Morrow. As she asks for some new stories to keep her entertained, the detectives tell her about a turf war involving Copperhead and a mysterious other crime boss who they don't seem to be able to identify.
At sunset, Barry and Meena hug romantically while Wally looks at the cars around. They talk about the past and the mistakes they made, but suddenly Meena says something strange: "Barry, you are so gullible". Barry and Wally find themselves surrounded by Black Hole soldiers and Meena, her accomplice, binds them with her powers. Flash tries to convince her to come back on his side, but she argues that this "isn't about him". She then starts running around Barry, until she takes from him the powers of the Negative Speed Force, becoming the new Negative Flash.
