Synopsis for "Striking Back"
Six of the Titans, Argent, Cyborg, Flash, Starfire, Tempest, and Troia, set off for the Vega System to aid the Tamaraneans against the Gordanians. Meanwhile on Earth, Grant Emerson, is distressed by the fact that he must attend the trial of the man he believed to be his uncle, Neal Emerson (Doctor Polaris). Nightwing investigates a way to restore Cyborg to a human body. The Titans reach New Tamaran and meet up with Starfire’s brother Ryand'r, who has been ruling Starfire's place. They easily defeat the Gordanian force on New Tamaran, but Tempest is captured by the Gordanians. The ease with which they defeat the Gordanians causes the heroes to begin to suspect that not all is as it seems. Back on Earth, Roy Harper lends support to Grant after the trial dredges up past trauma. Grant reveals that he suffered abuse at the hands of the man he believed to be his father during his childhood.
