Synopsis for "You Better Watch Out, You Better Not Cry..."

Outside of the precinct, Jaafs believed that he saw his Uncle Mack, only for him to disappear. Then, Jaafs went inside the precinct and reported about his uncle. Then, he learned that his best friend Stochastic Fats had returned and was confused and surprised to learn that he knew Robyn.

In Mardale, on Wednesday, October 7th, 1999, Jaafs woke up on a snowy day and drove to work after picking up Robyn. When they arrived, Robyn met a hostage negotiator called the Word, who told her that they caught Libra, and saw Doctor Documentary of Tune Titans Magazine trying to interview Monsoon about a rockstar named Glenn Garland, who they arrested the night before. Toybox and the Word went down to the cells with Irma Geddon and Girl One, where they saw M'rrgla Qualtz's cell, as well as Hyperdog walking on four legs instead of two, as his exo-frame was undergoing repairs. Janus told Hyperdog about a disturbance on Marconi Street and he assigned Irma and Girl One to handle it.

While driving, Irma and Girl One almost ran into Santa Claus' sleigh. A bystander with gamma vision goggles claimed that it was the real Santa Claus. Santa Claus stopped his sleigh in the middle of the road to give presents and when Irma and Girl One attempted to disperse Santa and the children, he declared them both to be naughty. Girl One requested backup from Janus, who dispatched Synaesthesia and Micromaid. Micromaid had to examine Airbag, who had tested positive for S.T.O.R.M.S., while Syn tried to pass on the task to Jaafs and Robyn, but the latter believed it to be a prank call.

Meanwhile, Duane was arguing with the Ex-Verminator over the latter's decision to use atom-cats to get rid of the ultramice in his mother's apartment. As the Ex-Verminator sent the atom-cats to fight the ultramice, Duane reluctantly allowed his mother to move in with him. Jaafs arrived at Marconi Street, where Li told him that she learned from Janus that "Santa Claus" was actually a psychokinetic named William "Brainstorm" Bernhardt who escaped from Neopolis Psychiatric Infirmary. When Jeff confronted Brainstorm about the reindeer he had stolen, the latter attacked the former with his powers, prompting Robyn to try to arrest him, assisted by her toy gadgets, which their enemy turned against them.

The Word arrived and helped the others by using his powers to subdue Brainstorm, revealing that he was the one causing the snow in October. Afterwards, Jaafs and Robyn drove off, but were stopped when Freya, wife of Woden, claimed that her son had been killed at the Godz bar.
