Tula, also known by her alias Aquagirl, is a native of Atlantis and member of both the Aquaman Family and Teen Titans who served as a protege of Aquaman alongisde Aqualad, the latter whom she was romantically involved with. She would eventually be among the casualities in the Crisis on Infinite Earths event. In the New 52, Tula Marius is the younger half-sister of Ocean Master who served as the leader of the Atlantean black-ops group, The Drift. After her half-brother was deposed by Aquaman, she becomes one of his most trusted allies.
Aquagirl was created by Bob Haney and Nick Cardy, first appearing in Aquaman #33 (1967).
