Synopsis for "Homecoming, Part One: A Shot at Redemption"

Mayor Alex Fury is being released from prison at the Salem State Maximum Security Penitentiary . Much to his surprise, he exits the prison to a crowd of supporters. Collette Pearson, the woman who accused him of trying to kill her, runs up and embraces him; asking his forgiveness. He is speechless and tells her he has to go. Sheriff Lindo and Deputy Duray give Fury a ride back to Tranquility and she tells him that she still believes he is guilty, regardless of what the jury thought.

At the Chick 'N' Go, Suzie Fury prepares for her husband's returns as she teaches Ajita, and Mangacide about her special meatloaf recipe. Mangacide asks why Suzie and her husband never had any kids. She says they did but they lost him. Mangacide apologizes but Suzie forgives her and they continue their preparation.

Elsewhere, Maximum Man and Henry Hate play chess as they discuss whether or not to go to Fury's welcome back party. Henry's refuses to go at first but as soon as Maximum Man convinces him, Coyote Kid shows up telling them it's not a good idea to go. Coyote Kid tells them that Mayor Fury will pay for what he did in the afterlife. But Maximum Man reminds Kid that Fury didn't kill Mister Articulate. Even though he disagrees, Coyote Kid leaves.

On the road to the surprise party, Fury, Lindo, and Duray are attacked by a shadowy figure. Their car hits a tree but the figure saves Fury while the car blows up, presumably with Lindo and Duray in it.

At the surprise party, Suzie asks everyone to go easy on her husband even though they all know what he did. Suddenly, the door opens and there stands Mister Articulate.
