Synopsis for the 1st Story

At a lodge in Aspen, Marlowe informs the WildC.A.T.s he has joined a U.S. government energy commission to fix the damage done by the Daemonite-possessed Dan Quayle.  Suddenly, an attack helicopter fires machine guns into the lodge.  Grifter shoots it down, but Voodoo is critically wounded.  The next day at IO headquarters, the Black Razors’ new leader, Ben Santini, briefs his team on the assassinations of the commission’s other members and Marlowe’s survival.  Afterward, the others go about their personal lives while Santini confesses to his priest that he hates Marlowe for crippling him when the Razors fought the WildC.A.T.s. Elsewhere, an undercover IO agent notifies the agency of the next assassination target at the cost of his own life.  The Razors go to Boston to protect Daniels and are attacked by Daemonite operatives.  The Razors stop them and learn the next target is an oil emir set to meet with Marlowe.  The assassin is a Daemonite shapeshifter posing as one of the WildC.A.T.s.
