Synopsis for "Paradise Lost"

In 1297, Lord Entropy leads Marco Polo and the WildC.A.T.s into the city of Shangri-La. Inside, the team is surprised to meet this time period’s Savant.  Spartan and Grifter try to rest, but both share a dystopic vision of Zealot and Voodoo battling Daemonites.  Void reveals that, by trying to maintain a link with the present, she is causing them to see potential future timelines.  Elsewhere, de Medici and the Puritans monitor the Dark Riders as Hightower prepares to lead them against Shangri-La.  Anticipating the attack, Entropy sends Polo and Savant, who are lovers, away with Shangri-La’s sacred scrolls.  Sister Eve bonds with Entropy as the WildC.A.T.s prepare to defend the city.  In the present, Milos Tsabo gains access to all of Jacob Marlowe’s files in the Halo computer system.  Back in 1297, Olympia trails a mole in Shangri-La who lets the Dark Riders into the city.  On a mountain above, the Puritans watch as one of the Riders sets charges to trigger an avalanche.  The WildC.A.T.s defeat the Riders, but not before the charges detonate.  While Entropy uses a magic spell to confront Hightower, Sister Eve uses her powers to stop the avalanche.  But, tragically, the strain of doing so kills her.
