Synopsis for "The Circle, Part Four of Four: A Time of Reckoning"
As Hippolyta sleeps with her new born daughter the members of the Circle advance on her bedchambers planning to kill the child. Philippus tries to stop them but they strike her down and entre the Queens bedchambers. Once they see the new born Diana all of the members of the Circle hesitate to kill her except for Alkyone who attempts to stab the child, but Hippolyta awakens is able to fend off the would be assassins long enough for Philippus to return with the rest of the guard who apprehend the members of the Circle.
In the present, Diana battles the Nazi forces invading Themyscira. Eventually Diana forgives her enemies for the attack on her mother and they surrender on the condition that they are escorted off the island to be arrested. As the Nazis leave, Diana is shot by Philomela as a warning. Now with her attention, Alkyone tells Diana she has Hippolyta and will burn her at Themyscira's pyre. The other members of the Circle try to slow down Diana but she is able to out manoeuvre them and stops Alkyone from killing Hippolyta. The queen regains consciousness and tells Alkyone that Diana brought all the Amazons together rather than drive them apart. Alkyone refuses to believe her however and asks Diana to kill her but when Alkyone is instead forgiven, she throws herself into the ocean.
Diana searches for Alkyone's body but is unable to find it. The other three members of teh Circle are returned to their cells. Hippolyta remains on Themyscira to recover with a group of Diana's gorilla allies to watch over her while Diana herself returns to man's world to celebrate a delayed birthday with her closest freinds and her remaing gorillas.
