Synopsis for "The Family that Fled the Earth"

A scientist and his family flee the Earth in a stolen space station, while Superman and Batman try to deal with an orbit wobble that threatens the Earth. On their space trip, the heroes learn that the space station has been attacked by a mysterious intruder from outer space and as they investigate the case, they learn that the intruder was an alien experiment that got out of control. Superman takes the scientist and his family back to Earth and then deals with the aliens, while Batman uses the space station to save Earth, but sacrificing his own life.

Superman convinces the aliens to use their experiment to save Earth and the Man of Steel saves Batman from a certain doom.
