Synopsis for the 1st Story

A biochemist named Noah Park seemingly goes insane and takes his own life. His sister refuses to believe that her brother would kill himself and brings her case to F.B.I. agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

Mulder and Scully investigate the alleged suicide and the trail leads them to Rauch Industries. Rauch Industries is a defense contractor working on top-secret government projects. Although the staff at the facility provides the agents with no information, Mulder recovers a flash drive that he finds on the laboratory floor. He brings it to the Lone Gunmen for analysis.

Later, Mulder begins acting panicked and even more paranoid than usual. He is convinced that someone is out there trying to kill him. He tries to get information from one of his Washington contacts, but this meets with little success. Upon returning home, Mulder looks into the mirror and sees an image of his own face rotting away.

Meanwhile, the Lone Gunmen determine that Rauch's secret biochemical formula isn't found in the data on the flash drive, but rather, on the actual drive itself.
