Synopsis for "Final Crisis: Revelations - Part One"

Following the death of the Martian Manhunter[1], Crispus Allen, the Spectre, exacts justice on the ones responsible for the Manhunter's death. He kills Doctor Light and melts Effigy, and goes after Libra, the new head of the Secret Society of Super Villains. However, the Spectre is unable to discern Libra's real name, and the villain is actually capable of fighting against the Spectre with much ease. Forced to retreat, his only defeat as the Spectre has added more discontent to Allen's role as the Spectre. However, his eyes are now mysteriously the same orange tint as Libra's.

At the same time, Renee Montoya is hunting down the members of the Religion of Crime, who have sworn to kill her for denying her role as their leader. The members are looking for the mythical rock which Cain used to kill Abel. As Renee tries to fight off the members when they do find the rock, Allen turns up as the Spectre to judge her.
