Firehair was born some time in the early 1800s. He was the lone survivor of wagon train massacre by the Blackfoot Indians. The infant boy was adopted and raised by the Blackfoot Chief Grey Cloud. By the age of eighteen, Firehair was more skilled than any of his peers in the tribe and left to discover his true heritage. He became a protector of those on the plains and, sadly, was despised by both the whites and the Indians.

At some point in his life, Firehair experienced two bizarre manipulations of the timestream. He was present during the Crisis on Infinite Earths when the various parallel worlds and timelines of the Multiverse began to overlap with one another. [1]

He was also one of many time-lost adventurers who found themselves trapped on Dinosaur Island, where he took place in the "War That Time Forgot". [2]

Late in his life, Firehair became a close ally of Hawk, Son of Tomahawk. In 1872, He journeyed with Hawk to the hacienda of Lazarus Lane, whom at the time, was under the control of the evil Wise Owl. Firehair, along with several other notable gunslingers, helped to defeat Wise Owl and free Lazarus Lane. [3]

The final fate of Firehair has yet to be recorded.

Abilities

  • Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985-86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
  • Firehair lived in the Old West.
