Synopsis for "Sparx"

Due to the recent unreliability of Firestorm to focus two tasks simultaneously, Professor Stein has developed a theory that they gain their powers form the sun and therefore have been vulnerable to the recent spike in sunspot activity. Meanwhile, a junkie in Miami named Frido, is having particularly bad time trying to acquire the drugs he needs to ease the maddening withdrawl symptoms he faces. As the sunspot activity increases, Frido is suddenly transformed into a being of electricity. As his pain continues, Frido takes vengeance on those who refused to help him until Firestorm hears about the happenings in Miami and goes to investigate.

  • Sporer's law states that in 1985 there were almost no sunspots on the sun, this meaning that the New Earth's time and position in orbit, and it (Also explaining how so many aliens find earth.) is completely not close to our actual position or timeline, saying that Stein's study was completely off and Firestorm's powers are STILL a mystery and sunspots are NOT his actual weakness, giving him the benefit of the doubt.
