They tell him how certain Green Lanterns recently died because their fearlessness actually overwhelmed them in their decision making and they all flew directly into a small sun. And because Hal Jordan is the most fearless Lantern of all, the Guardians are turning to the less emotional Flash for help instead.

Meanwhile, Iris West-Allen is calling Hal Jordan and tells him that Barry vanished in a burst of green energy. Hal immediately thinks the Guardians are involved and decides to pay them a visit. The Guardians try to hide Flash being there, but ultimately Hal finds his friend. Barry explains why he was summoned and together they fight the small sun. Flash and Green Lantern together are more successful, so the man behind this threat has to reveal himself: Sinestro! At first Sinestro has the upper hand in the fight with the two heroes, but then Flash is able to take the yellow power ring away from him and Sinestro disappears.

On the way back to Earth, Green Lantern explains to Barry that he only is fearless because he has nothing to lose ...
