Flash Comics #24 is an issue of the series Flash Comics (Volume 1) with a cover date of December, 1941.
Synopsis for The Flash: "The Spider-Men of Mars"
Jennings, an insane scientist, invents an interplanetary rocketship, and sets out to colonize Mars. He partners up with Enzil, a gang boss, to kidnap some families for this purpose. Jay Garrick gets wind of this, and as the Flash he boards the rocket, just barely too late too stop the launch. Arriving on Mars, the space travelers encounter the hostile, indigenous, spider-like Martians, called Kriglo, who kill Enzil and capture the ship. The Flash frees the ship and persuades Jennings to return to Earth.

- Hawkman:
- This is Shiera's 2nd appearance in a Hawk costume; the first was in All-Star Comics #5 June/July 1941.
- Shiera, in her Hawkwoman costume, is mistaken for Hawkman, by a flock of hawks, two young lovers, a hotel desk clerk, and a small gang of thugs.
- The term "Hawkgirl" doesn't appear in this story but the term "Hawkwoman" does.
