Synopsis for Flash: "The Changeling"

Convict Erik Razar sneaks into the prison powerhouse, ruminating on his plans to shut off all the lights and break jail in the ensuing confusion. Lacking knowledge of electric wiring, he pulls the wrongs switches and is electrocuted. Somehow this gives him the power to change his shape: first into an ape to tear through a gate, into a giant tortoise to block the bullets of the guards on his shell, and a charging rhinoceros to smash his way through the prison gates. Once on the outside, Razar turns into a pigeon and spies on the crew that ratted him out and hears their plan to rob an armored car. Which he intercepts himself by turning into an elephant. Jay Garrick is on hand and tries to tackle the shape-shifting criminal, but the Razar-elephant hurls him across town.

Razar overhears his old compatriot's plan to rob the salvage boat hauling up the safe of a sunken ship, turning himself into a shark to interfere. The Flash tries to swim after him, but the hero's foot is caught in a giant a clam. He manages to fling it away by spinning at high speed. After capturing the ordinary criminals in the blink of an eye, Flash deals with Razar by battering the shark's gills with all his speed, drowning the fearsome villain.
