Synopsis for "Ignition: Part One: Driven"
Officers Morillo and Fred Chyre try to stop a drag race in progress, when the weather suddenly changes to blizzard conditions, causing their police cruiser to crash. A newspaper blows by. One of the headlines reads The Flash ...Still Missing. They find police forensic scientist Adam Perkins, frozen to death.
Elsewhere, Wally West is working as a mechanic in the Keystone City police garage.
After work, Wally goes to a diner for a meal and drops the ketchup bottle, establishing that he has no speed powers -- or at least no memory of them. He meets another diner there, Leonard Snart, and they share a table. After he eats, Wally goes home to Linda Park. She talks to him about how she lost her baby when she got caught in a crossfire between Flash and a super-villain while she was pregnant. She says she is glad the Flash has disappeared. She complains that they are never together because of the late hours of his new job.
Later, during Wally's commute to work, he is in a car accident. Time slows down. While time is slowed, Wally gets out of his car and brings everyone involved in the multi-car pileup to safety. Time starts up again at normal pace and firefighters and paramedics respond. A man walks by and hands something to Wally, saying "It's time to run again." Wally looks down at his hand and sees the object is a ring bearing the Flash emblem.
