Synopsis for "Ignition, Part Three: Crash & Burn"
Wally West recalls Linda Park blaming Flash for the death of her twins. Wally snaps out of the memory and pulls himself out of the rubble and realizes he had moved so fast he caused the building to collapse on himself and the thugs robbing him. Wally instinctively pulls the men out of the rubble and calls 911 asking for help. When 911 asks for Wally to identify himself he hangs up the phone and walks away. He looks at some bruises on his body and they heal quickly.
At the diner, Leonard Snart overhears that another cop has been murdered by the mysterious cold killer. He grumbles while breaking a glass he was holding in frustration and orders another blueberry pie from Malory. Wally stops by the dinner and Leo has Wally sit with him again and they commiserate together. As they are discussing, a news flash comes on the TV reporting live that Captain Cold is currently holding up more hostages. Leo states that he has to leave at the same time Wally does.
Wally sneaks out the back to put on the Flash costume that comes out of the ring the mysterious man gave him earlier. When he puts the suit on, he hears police chatter over an installed police scanner in his suit.
Ashley Zolomon surprisingly stops by the mechanic workshop at the police station. She says she's transferring to this station as a profiler and says she's looking for Wally West.
Jared Morillo and Fred Chyre are staked outside of the hangout where the alleged Captain Cold is freezing police officers. Flash shows up and says he'll take care of it. Everyone is shocked having not see the Flash in years. Once inside, Wally learns that it is actually Mr. Element who is freezing the cops and not Captain Cold as the news reports it. When Mr. Element pushes a frozen stiff cop over the edge, Wally is unable to save him before his body hits the ground shattering. Wally chokes on the fumes in the room and Mr. Element freezes Flash into an ice statue.
