Synopsis for "Rogue Profile: Heat Wave"

Heat Wave thinks about how he's not an arsonist. He feels like he's a pyromaniac because he doesn't have a choice. He recalls being a young boy seeing a candle lit over dinner with his family once. He put his hand over it to feel the heat. His dad pulls his hand away as he burns his palm. That night he lit his house on fire with his family still sleeping. He thinks about going to get help to save them but can't take his eyes off the flames.

He finds a dead body in a building he breaks into. Their tongue was cut out by Murmur who Mick his hunting, per orders of his bosses at the FBI.

Mick begins thinking about shortly after murdering his house, he ran around with a Circus. They gave him a job and he began fire breathing. With no provocation, he sets the circus tents on fire one night out of an impulse he couldn't control.

After that, he saw an opportunity to work with the Rogues. After joining, he was frequently at ends with their leader Captain Cold.

Mick finds Murmur about to murder another innocent. He intervenes and his special cannisters are cut spilling accelerant everywhere. A spark is lit and the place burns. As Mick is about to knock out Murmer, Captain Cold appears and puts up an ice wall between them. Cold tells Heat Wave and all the other sells outs like James Jesse and Pied Piper, need to stay out of Keystone City. As Mick and Cold shoot fire and ice at each other there is an explosion. When Mick picks himself up again Cold and Murmur have disappeared.

Back in Chicago, Mick speaks with Rathaway and is mad. He wants to get back at Cold and says Rathaway should want to get back at Mirror Master for killing his parents.[1] James Jesse walks in and says they will break apart the Rogues and that Mick did good for at least stopping Murmur from killing his last victim.

Mick recalls walking into Frank's Irish Bar in Lincoln Town and randomly setting it on fire. He knows he's sick and must burn things, and plans on burning the Rogues and Cold.
