Synopsis for "The Show Must Go On"

The story begins with Deadman (Boston Brand) Attempting a Huge circus trick with The Flying Graysons! As the Grayson Family does several Death-Defying tricks, Deadman shows them all up with even more horrifying spectacles. Later, outside the tent, the Mayor is congratulating the Ringmaster on a great show. The mayor marvels at the fact that he is able to live on the road. And not settle down for even a moment. The Ringmaster simply remarks that the circus is his home. A few feet away, Dick Grayson and his family, help with the cleaning and packing of the circus, but Boston Refuses, he says that he cant tear his costume, or possibly injure one of his hands, because then there would be no show. And as the Graysons walk away, they discuss how much of an egomaniac Boston is.

On the Bus, they are trying to figure out where to go next for their show. But the war between the Atlanteans and the Amazons, has made this hard. Once they finally find a city, the setup begins, and Boston is helping! He tries to get a man in the corner named Kent (who is wearing The Helmet of Doctor Fate) to help him. And when he doesn't respond, Boston walks over and begins to take The Helmet of Nabu off when a voice that sounds like Dick Grayson's tells Boston that he will be haunted by death. So, he walks away.

In Austria, where death and destruction plagues the Country, a man is confronted by Wonder Woman, who chokes the man and asks where it is. When the man asks what "it" is, She holds up a picture of The Helmet of Doctor Fate and replies, "The Helmet of Nabu." Backstage, Boston complements Dicks abilities, and says that his family is holding him back, that he should fly with Boston. Without a net. But, Dick declines, says that he never flies without his family, and heads to a top platform. But, this could be his last performance. Off in the distance, the Amazons are preparing to make their strike.
