Notes

Forever People (Volume 2) is a six-issue limited series published under DC's "New" direct market format.

The Forever People were originally created by writer/artist Jack Kirby. They appeared last as a group in Forever People #11.

The death of Vykin the Black is revealed in flashback in this issue. His death appearently took place shortly after the events depicted in Forever People #11.

The destruction of the Forever People's Mother Box is revealed in flashback in this issue.

Darkseid, DeSaad and Lightray appear in cameo flashbacks in this issue.

Maya is not to be confused with the Justice League Task Force member of the same name. Maya will not be referenced by name until issue #2.

This issue includes an editorial by J.M. DeMatteis regarding the career of Jack Kirby. DeMatteis compares Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's contributions to the comics industry in the same light as John Lennon and Paul McCartney's contributions to Rock 'n Roll.

Trivia

Forevertown is named in homage to Supertown, the Forever People's nickname for New Genesis.

Letterer John Costanza was also the letterer on the first issue of the original Forever People comic series.

The tagline for this issue is "Return to Forever!"
