Synopsis for "Forever's End?"
Mark Moonrider is having some drinks in a bar, and he engages in a fight with the bartender. The bartender aims at him with a shotgun, but a woman named Fyre interrupts the fight, pays for the drinks and takes Mark with her.
Maya takes Serifan and Vykin away from the city to a calm place. The Dark follows them and attacks. Serifan tries to fight the shadows with his cartridges, but Maya tells him they are useless, for The Dark can't hurt them because they have a strong soul. The trio resists the attack of the shadows, and they rejoice. Maya explains The Dark has always been present in humanity's history, whispering in the ear of evil men. But The Dark's efforts are stronger now because they live in a new age called Kali-Yuga when chaos and order fight for humanity's soul. That's why Maya brought them back to Earth to stop The Dark.
Meanwhile in the city, Big Bear is still looking for Beautiful Dreamer. He finds her playing with some children in the park, but one of those kids is a phantom from The Dark trying to trick Dreamer into joining the, and Big Bear interferes rips it apart.
Donald Bergman still struggles to overcome his writing block, and every time he tries to clear his head, Mr. Knight appears and convinces him to keep on writing.
Mark wakes up in Fyre's bed, feeling sick and dirty. She reveals herself as part of the Dark and tries to seduce Mark into joining them. Mark fights back, but his efforts are in vain, and he joins The Dark.
