Synopsis for the 1st Story
Fire uses her flames to trigger the fire alarm in her cell. Firemen arrive and she puts them out of commission and escapes. She then frees Blue Beetle and Booster Gold. They free Elongated Man and the group go in search of the arena to help Captain Atom and Mary Marvel. Roulette discovers the other heroes have escaped and are at the arena gate. She decides to let the other heroes into the arena so Mary Marvel can kill them and she can make money on the bets.
Fire enters the arena and begins fighting Mary. Mary knocks Fire out and goes back to finish off Captain Atom. Just as she is about to administer the killing blow, Booster Gold forms a force field around Captain Atom, protecting him.
The mind control wears off Mary and Roulette teleports the heroes out of the facility. The heroes are discussing how best to treat Captain Atom's injuries when they see a spaceship hovering in the air above them.
