Francine Lee is a brilliant scientist and the wife to Kirk Langstrom, the criminal also known as Man-Bat. On occasion, she has ingested the Man-Bat Serum herself and became the She-Bat. Despite her husband's tendency to turn into a horrifying giant monster, she stands by him and works hard to preserve their marriage through his struggles. This has made her a close friend and ally to Batman. She is the mother of Aaron and Rebecca Langstrom and has also worked with the Outsiders.
Francine Langstrom was created by Frank Robbins and Neal Adams, first appearing in Detective Comics #402 (1970).
