Synopsis for the 1st Story
Jason is still being attacked by his former victims while Freddy taunts him. Ash's severed hand grabs Jason's fallen machete and impales him with it. Of course, being immortal, this has no effect on him what so ever, and he pulls it out while continuing to struggle against the hordes of victims trying to bring him down. Freddy turns to use the Necronomicon once more, only to find it- and Ash- gone. Having escaped into the nearby woods, Ash runs for his life with the cursed book, but doesn't get far, as Freddy uses his new reality-bending powers to make the forest come alive and capture Ash once more. He is attacked by tree vines and birds, before defeating them all quite handily with his trusty chainsaw. He escapes and finds two of the teenage boys from the story- massacred by Jason. Ash takes a moment and laments not being able to save them, despite their constant mockery of him for the entire story up to this point. Caroline meets up with Ash once again, telling of how she witnessed the boys' slaughter and was confused that Jason did not come for her as well. They decide to head back to the Voorhees house. Unbeknownst to them, Freddy takes the shape of a massive, fiery red cloud and spies on them as they flee.
Once back in the house, they read passages from the Necronomicon and discover that Pamela Voorhees actually used the ancient book of the dead to resurrect Jason. Suddenly, the environment around them changes to the familiar Elm St. house, complete with singing, jump-roping little girls in the front lawn. Freddy grabs Caroline and the book through the front door, leaving Ash all alone with the children. They turn on him, becoming demonic and their jump ropes becoming snakes that resemble Freddy. The possessed children gang up on Ash not unlike Jason's victims, and attempt to choke him with their jump ropes...that is, until he gets the chainsaw revved up once more. During all this, Jason makes his way to Freddy's new created reality and finds a way into the house. He busts into the door just as Freddy is about to do unspeakable things to Caroline, and the two horror legends begin to fight once more. (Freddy doing most of it- using his new Necronomicon-fueled powers to beat Jason mercilessly) Ash too finds his way into the house, and tries to sneak off with Caroline and the Necronomicon to speak the magic words- Klaatu Verata Nikto- to try and stop this nightmare once and for all. Before they are successful, however, Jason grabs the book out of Caroline's hand as she attempts to read it. Ash shoots Jason in the face point blank with his boomstick, knocking the famous hockey mask off and across the room. He then saws off the arm holding the Necronomicon off with his chainsaw, from which Caroline once again retrieves it and flees. Jason (using his new found intelligence) sticks his machete into the stump where his arm used to be (just below the elbow), prompting a smartaleck quip from Ash about originality. Jason knocks Ash out a nearby window with a mighty blow, rendering him unconscious. The house begins to crumble as Freddy and Jason begin their epic fight once more, soon crashing down upon the trio and burying them in rubble.
